For guaranteed production, a farmer must ensure the availability of water, Nursery beds organic fertilizers, and pesticides. Vegetables not only provide a stable income source but also provide the community with healthy foods.
Mushroom Farming .
It involves growing of edible fungi in a controlled dark environment. they are highly productive ,profitable and grow in a short time.
The demand and market for mushrooms is available in supermarkets and local markets. Mushrooms are consumed for several reasons including medicinal and food. The mushrooms don’t require a lot of space.
These do well in vertical garden setups with controlled humidity . Varieties like shiitake, oyster and lion’s mane are not only delicious, but also highly profitable. They can be grown indoors, on logs or in bags filled with substrate. With the right conditions you can have multiple harvest per year making mushrooms a fantastic high value crop .
The caps of the plant are carefully harvested after a few weeks.it is placed in cool conditions to increase the shelf life. Research has shown that mushrooms are a proper substitute for animal meat.
Paper growing.
Gourmet Peppers, specialty Peppers like bell Peppers, hot Peppers, and sweet mini Peppers are popular at markets and with chefs. Paper is colorful, and flavorful, and can be sold fresh, dried, or as pepper-based products like hot sauce
